Created as a personal register aimed at an intimate circle of friends, Eternal Dance has become the ātman’s unintended debut release in 1997. Motivated by a personal interest in yoga, the album was composed on an early PCM sound module. Its original tracks were supposed to serve as a guide and be fully re-recorded with real musicians and instruments. 

As things progressed, these original tracks were kept and mixed with guest performances on vocals, sitar, tablas, santur, violin, flutes, and percussion.
